Interfood – Logistics Coordinator Liquids

Your role

Interfood is looking for a Logistics Coordinator Liquids to join the team in Bladel, the Netherlands. In this role you are responsible for relationship and contract management with customers, suppliers and logistic partners giving us insights in their needs, enabling Interfood to optimize the planning. You will have to process all incoming orders from our customers and by managing the relationship you should be able to create the best planning for the customer, supplier and Interfood.

On a daily basis you are in direct contact with suppliers, customers and logistic partners, as well as our office in Warsaw and of course the various departments within Interfood, such as Liquid Agreement, Trade, and Quality Assurance. In this role you will report to the Supervisor Logistics Liquids.

Furthermore, you will book transport and do the daily follow up of deliveries. An analytical and commercial focus is key for this role, and you should be able to think as a Trader.

As our new Logistics Coordinator Liquids you:

  • are responsible for sales contract management with our customers and purchase contract management with our suppliers.
  • create and maintain a close relationship with our trade team to discuss product position and (spot) opportunities.
  • make the week to week planning based on forecasts, orders and spot opportunities.
  • are responsible for discussing, monitoring and processing of changes with customers/suppliers/logistic partners and for keeping close contact with the other Liquids Coordinators.
  • arrange transport on regular lanes with contracted carriers.
  • source transport for irregular lanes and negotiate best price/quality.
  • manage seasonal peaks in a pro-active way together with carriers, and you prepare and attend operational meetings.
