By registering to the Tilburg Career Days website, you agree to the collection and use of information with regard to this policy. The Tilburg Career Days does not use the collected data for other purposes than those described in the privacy policy, unless written permission is given. Collection of personal information
What personal information is collected?
Tilburg Career Days collects and documents your personal information when creating an account to the website. The following information is mandatory:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- International student (yes/no)
- IBAN, address, zip code, and city (in case your bank account is from a SEPA country)
- Language
- Educational Institution
- Study
- Study year
- CV (in case of subscription for CV-selection activities)
Additional information can be filled in voluntarily, to optimize participation experience in the Tilburg Career Days.
Where is personal information used for?
Personal information is saved for the following reasons: the organization of the various activities during the Tilburg Career Days, communicating relevant information before, during, and after the event via phone and/or mail, and improving our services. We will only store your personal information for the time strictly necessary. Per edition, we will gather your information again. Your information will be stored for a maximum duration of three years for organizational purposes. If information is passed on to a third party, this will be explicitly mentioned, e.g. when your CV is send to a company. CV’s will be deleted 10 working days after the last activity of the Tilburg Career Days. If you give permission, in our registration form, to the companies that you subscribed for to save your CV on their systems according to their terms and conditions, the 10 working days term does not apply anymore.
Who has access to your personal information?
Only the board of the Tilburg Career Days has access to your personal information and will use this for the sole purpose of organizing the Tilburg Career Days. When subscribing for CV-selection activities, your CV will be shared with the respective company.
You have the right to request the information we collect about you. If you wish to do this, you can send an email to: [email protected]. We are able to send you an overview of the information we store about you. In addition, you always have the right to request the deletion or adjustment of your personal information.
Pictures
When agreeing to the terms and conditions, you agree that the Tilburg Career Days is authorized to take pictures of you during the activities of the Tilburg Career Days. In addition, you allow the Tilburg Career Days to use your pictures for promotional material. When you explicitly want your picture(s) to be removed, you can send a request to [email protected].
Cookies
The Tilburg Career Days website uses functional cookies necessary for a well-functioning website. You can set your web browser to not save cookies anymore. In addition, you can delete all information previously gathered by your browser.

Reporting obligation data leak
The Tilburg Career Days organization is obligated to report any major data leaks. A data leak is a confirmed incident in which sensitive, confidential or otherwise protected data has been accessed and/or disclosed in an unauthorized way. If a data leak occurs, the Tilburg Career Days organization is obliged to notify the involved parties. This will be done within 72 hours. After a data leak, the Tilburg Career Days will investigate where the leak could have occurred and how a similar leak in the future can be prevented.
