What is an anonymous CV?
An anonymous CV is essentially the same as your regular CV, besides the fact that it does not include any personal details that refer to your gender, age or ethnicity. In general, the idea is that any information unrelated to your capabilities, shouldn’t be included. The only information that should appear is academic training, work experience, and contact information so that there is no unconscious bias.
What should i remove from my CV ?
In order to anonymize your CV you should remove the following items from your regular CV:
- First name
- Surname
- Gender
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Photo
- Links
