Our Global Retail Department is responsible for more than 1200 stores worldwide and focusses on optimizing performance and processes around it. They are the linking pin between 12 local offices and the Central Head Office in Amsterdam.

Retail Training and Development

Our International Training and Development Department at Rituals plays a key role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our global workforce. Our team is dedicated to crafting comprehensive training programs and initiatives that empower our employees worldwide.

We collaborate closely with local training teams across various regions to tailor our programs to meet the specific needs of each market while ensuring alignment with our company’s overarching goals and values.

 

What you’ll do

· Assist to develop specific training programs, whether this is online or offline.

· Provide support with projects, video, and photoshoots, be involved in storyboard & script writing, build, and update online learning modules and coordinate the translation process.

· Support with the international training & development mailbox making sure all our learners have access to the right content on our digital learning platform.

· Additionally, we offer a fast paced and innovative environment so each day will bring new and exciting projects and the potential to learn and give input into our ever-growing business.

 

 

Retail Commercial Development

The Commercial Development Team is responsible for the development of the commercial cycle strategy and calendars for all Rituals shops worldwide. These plans are shared with shops every campaign period, so they have the right tools to perform at their best and offer top-notch service to customers. Collaborating closely with teams in marketing activation, promotions, in-store communication, visual merchandising, format and design, and training and development, we ensure seamless execution of our strategies.

 

 

What you’ll do

· Supporting the development of the commercial briefings and calendars for all markets worldwide

· Assisting in gaining insights into customer experience

· Supporting commercial and operational projects (e.g. Shop challenges, Holiday Season)

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

 

 

Retail Operational Excellence

During this internship, you will provide support to the Retail Operational Excellence team. You will report to the Team Lead of Retail Operational Excellence and will have a supportive role within the team. The Retail Operational Excellence team oversees operations in all shops worldwide. Our department manages various commercial and operational projects aimed at benefiting employees globally, ensuring they have the necessary tools to deliver best in class performance and provide excellent service to our customers.

 

 

What you’ll do

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily retail operational tasks such as:

· Retail communication,

· Maintaining the knowledge base,

· Quality issues

· Cash management and handling ad-hoc activities.

· Additionally, you will be involved in communicating with markets, providing support for international retail projects from development to implementation, and liaising with our stores to gather best practices and feedback.

 

 

Retail Internal Communication

As an intern with our Global Retail Department, you’ll join our enthusiastic Internal Communication team. Our mission is o elevate everyday moments into extraordinary experiences.

Our secret ingredient? Happy employees. Because when they thrive, our customers do too. By enhancing the employee experience, you’ll create a ripple effect that waves all the way towards the customer on the shopfloor.

Imagine being part of a team that reaches 10,000 store employees across Europe through our internal communication platform ‘Your Rituals’, or through our live events. That’s where you come in!

 

What you’ll do

· Event Enthusiast: play a crucial support role in the organisation of our Rituals Live Events & Retail Events

· Content Creator: create inspiring, ‘snackable’ content. Our Content Calendar is your baby and you take the lead in owning it, and support our markets using it (TikTok guru wanted!)

· Platform Management: analyze and moderate the ‘Your Rituals’ platform, help introduce & implement new features.

 

 

Retail Outlet

Join the Differentiated Formats team. We are responsible for building optimal conditions for our ±40 European outlets, House of Rituals and 5 mind oasis stores. This means creation and implementation of our Commercial Calendar, Assortment Management, Pricing, and multiple commercial and operational projects that benefit our local teams.

As part of your team you work closely with all departments within Rituals, like Format & Design, Supply Chain, Communications and Marketing Departments.

 

 

What you’ll do

· Your very own impactful projects, focussed improving communication and processes.

· Supporting commercial and operational projects (e.g., Shop challenges).

· Supporting on reporting and analysis.

· Collaborate with our frontline heroes (shops) to collect best practices.

· Maintaining the commercial chapters in Shop Rituals (operations manual).

 

 

Practicalities

All internships are located in Amsterdam, at our Central Head Office. We are looking for interns for 32-40 hours a week, from the 1st of September, for 5-6 months.

 

Other requirements are:

· Education: Currently studying in HBO/WO education in Communication/ BA/Hotel Management/ Marketing/Branding other. *Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are actively enrolled in their study.

· Excellent communication skills in English

· Good skills: planning, organization, and multitasking

· You can work with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
