Damen is made up of different companies divided into divisions, all under the same umbrella. Almost every division has its own financial group or department, sometimes with different names or responsibilities. One name can be Finance & Control department, divided into two. The financial management in this department is divided into Project Control and Business Control. The focus of Project Control is on project results whereas the focus of Business Control, is on the entities within the division and the consolidated result of the division.

The Damen Group has expertise centers that can help smaller entities with financial aspects, with Treasury, Tax and Group Control. Also our Shared Service Center Finance (SSCF) works for multiple entities that do not have their own financial department. Within the SSCF, thirty colleagues take on the financial administration. Think of debit and credit administration, cash management and setting up financial reports.
